My Rivertown Dentist in Madison

Do you have severe dental anxiety? Are you someone who avoids seeing their dentist in Madison at all costs? At My Rivertown Dentist, we understand how you feel and believe your feelings are very real. That’s why we have a whole series of solutions available to you with what we refer to as sedation dentistry

Don’t let the term “sedation” fool you or make you even more nervous. We’re about helping you relax safely and effectively to have the ability to achieve your oral health goals just like everyone else.

What Does Sedation Dentistry Mean?

Our style of sedation dentistry in Madison focuses on using certain medications to help nervous patients overcome severe dental anxiety so they can move forward with treatment. We can easily relax your mind and body, so your muscles aren’t tense during or after your treatment.

Why Choose Us as Your Madison Sedation Dentist

At My Rivertown Dentist, it’s always incredible and inspiring to everyone to see someone with extreme dental anxiety achieve the smile of their dreams. Under the expert guidance of Dr. Ashley Lee, you’ll know that you’re going to be safe, comfortable, and cared for every step of the way, from kiddos to grandparents. Dr. Lee completed extensive training and is certified in conscious sedation through DOCs Education, one of our country’s leading sedation dentistry training facilities. Their courses have earned the distinction of being featured as America’s Best Dental Faculty for two decades.

What Sedation Options Do We Offer?

We have two sedation solutions to choose from at My Rivertown Dentist, including:

  • Nitrous Oxide – Also known as “laughing gas,” this is inhalation sedation that’s gentle enough for kids but also powerful enough to relax the most anxious adults. Nitrous is preferred over most sedation options because we can quickly reverse it by administering oxygen. There’s no fogginess, fatigue, or forgetting about finishing the rest of your day. You can even drive yourself home after your appointment.
  • Oral Sedation – This is where Dr. Lee gives you a prescription for medication that you take before your appointment. Due to how this type of sedation works, you’ll need to arrange transportation to and from your appointment. Oral sedation is helpful for patients with extensive dental anxiety or phobias.

Don’t be nervous about seeing your dentist in Madison! We show you how easy it can be to relax, and let us do all the work to perfect your oral health. Please reach out to us to schedule an appointment where you’ll have one-on-one time with our team, who can give you the answers you’ve been looking for. Everything will be OK; you just need to talk to us today!
